The Look 

I was drinking beer with friends at an outdoor café in my hometown and a dashing couple dressed from head to toe in olive green walked past. I immediately grabbed my camera and followed them. I don’t live in LA, folks - it’s not every day that people looking like hosts on MTV appear. At the red light, we talked. They were students, totally in love, and going to a workshop on teaching kids. Durell and Denisha were happy to have their photo made. But mostly, they were into each other and happy to cozy up for the camera. When Denisha cupped her hands around Durell’s face, her long hair just barely touched his hand resting on her back, and life felt as beautiful as they looked.
