Tie-Dyed Together
Two friends agreed to a quick photo since they were stuck anyway, waiting on one more guy to show up before they took off. The corner, the intersection of Chapel and Church Streets - a redundancy Iād not noticed until this moment - marked the beginning of their afternoons skating paths through downtown New Haven. I knew their terrain. It was where I lived without a car one spring for six weeks. Downtown New Haven is pretty much primo real estate because the city is flat, twisty, full of stairs, covered sidewalks, monuments, alleyways, waterways and university quads. No wonder they looked so happy.
